Intensive Outpatient Case Manager – Full-Time

This is an entry level clinical position requiring the provision of Intensive Case Management services to a target population of agency clients to assist them in gaining access to needed medical, social, educational and other services through assessment, care planning, referral and linkage and monitoring and follow-up. Duties include working closely with OUD (Opioid Use Disorders) clients in IOP, aftercare and involved in Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) to identify and address their Psycho-Social Rehabilitation (PRS) needs (treatment, recovery and follow-up deficits). Work closely with agency DSS and DJJ Liaisons to coordinate care of client families. Follow-up with clients diagnosed with OUD who have disengaged from treatment to re-engage them in services. Establish and conduct Mutual Aid Groups for Shoreline clients and appropriate family members who have Moderate to Severe Opioid Use Disorders. Regularly sits-in on treatment groups to provide support and role models success in recovery. Assists clients to gain access to Medication Assisted Treatment.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Services preferred. Minimum requirement is high school diploma or GED and three years related experience with Substance Use Disorders (SUD) population and good written and communications skills; or has completed the S.C. Substance Abuse Specialist Certification.

Deputy Director – Full-Time

The Deputy Director assists the Executive Director with financial oversight, project management (business development, framing of key approaches, high-quality program delivery, public appearance, meeting with government officials and written products), administration (information technology, reporting and facilities) and human capital (HR/recruiting, mentoring and career progression). Performs the duties of the Executive Director in his absence. Supports the Executive Director on developing internal collaboration among departments and in defining and promoting the organizational culture of the agency. Responsible for planning, development and implementation of all the Organization’s marketing strategies, marketing communications and public relations activities (both internal and external).

Qualifications: Master’s degree in Public Administration, Healthcare Management or an advanced clinical degree. Must possess computer literacy and high level reporting and data analysis skills, as well as strong oral and written communication skills.

Clinical Counselor – Women’s Recovery Center (Inpatient Facility) – Part-Time

Shoreline Behavioral Health Services is seeking a part-time Clinical Support Staff at the Women’s Recovery Center, a 10-bed residential treatment facility. Duties include facilitation of weekend and/or evening groups in addition to individual counseling sessions.  Providing supportive services to residents to include meal planning, medication observation, transportation and case management needs.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in human services is required. Experience working with individuals who have substance use disorders. Applicant must be willing to explore and learn cutting-edge treatment modalities and possess excellent documentation and time-management skills. Must be able to work independently and as a team member.

NOTE: Applicant must be flexible over 7 days a week and must be able to work weekends, evenings and some overnight shifts.

Clinical Counselor – Outpatient Facility – Full-Time

Duties include completion of diagnostic assessments in an outpatient facility as well crisis management, group, individual, and family counseling with adolescents who have been identified as having a substance use disorder.  Must be able to work independently and as a team member and possess excellent time-management skills. 

Qualifications:  LPC, LISW-CP, LMFT, LMSW, or Master’s degree in human service-related field and working toward licensure. Applicant must be willing to explore and learn cutting-edge treatment modalities and possess excellent documentation and time-management skills. Certified in or willing to be trained in evidenced based programs including A-CRA (Adolescent Community Reinforcement Approach). Experience working with adolescents and the family unit is preferred.

Patient Navigator

Acts as a liaison between Shoreline Behavioral Health Services and Grand Strand Medical Center to coordinate services for Emergency Room patients identified as having a substance use disorder. Documents all attempts to link clients to care, conducts surveys at prescribed intervals, facilitates transportation for clients as needed, collects, enters and reports data and works closely with both Shoreline and Grand Strand Medical Center staff.

This is a full-time, grant-funded position, and will be located at Shoreline Behavioral Health Services in Conway initially but will eventually be located full-time at Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach.

NOTE: Once located at Grand Strand Medical Center, the ideal candidate must be available for 3rd shift work (11pm-7am) weekdays and/or weekends.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in human services field required. Requires basic computer skills and ability to accurately collect and report data. Must be compassionate and nonjudgmental, culturally competent, a self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team. Previous experience with SUD and mental health clients preferred. Travel to national and state-level meetings, as well as some local travel is required.
