Deputy Director – Full-Time

The Deputy Director assists the Executive Director with financial oversight, project management (business development, framing of key approaches, high-quality program delivery, public appearance, meeting with government officials and written products), administration (information technology, reporting and facilities) and human capital (HR/recruiting, mentoring and career progression). Performs the duties of the Executive Director in his absence. Supports the Executive Director on developing internal collaboration among departments and in defining and promoting the organizational culture of the agency. Responsible for planning, development and implementation of all the Organization’s marketing strategies, marketing communications and public relations activities (both internal and external).

Qualifications: Master’s degree in Public Administration, Healthcare Management or an advanced clinical degree. Must possess computer literacy and high level reporting and data analysis skills, as well as strong oral and written communication skills.

Clerical Assistant – Full-Time

This role is to provide an initial contact point with the client in order to gather personal information and setup a client record in Carelogic. While performing the Point of Entry, you will strictly adhere to 42 CFR Part 2 and HIPPA privacy policies as well as ensure complete and accurate data entry.

Duties also include clerical support to clinical staff and management, review and complete required agency documentation, answer telephone, perform drug screens, assist clients with questions, scan medical records, and perform other administrative duties as needed. Must be organized and possess excellent time-management skills while working in a fast-paced front office environment. Must be willing to work at future new location.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent with 1-2 years clerical experience.

Clinical Counselor – Women’s Recovery Center (Inpatient Facility) – Part-Time

Shoreline Behavioral Health Services is seeking a Clinical Counselor at the Women’s Recovery Center, a 10-bed residential treatment facility. Duties include completion of diagnostic assessments, groups, individual & family counseling, treatment and discharge planning. Providing support services to clients to include transportation and case management needs.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in human services is required. Master’s degree preferred. Experience working with substance use disorder. Applicant must be willing to explore and learn cutting-edge treatment modalities and possess excellent documentation and time-management skills.

NOTE: Applicant must be flexible over 7 days a week and must be able to work weekends, evenings and some overnight shifts.

Clinical Counselor – Outpatient Facility – Full-Time

Duties include completion of diagnostic assessments in an outpatient facility as well crisis management, group, individual, and family counseling with adolescents who have been identified as having a substance use disorder.  Must be able to work independently and as a team member and possess excellent time-management skills. 

Qualifications:  LPC, LISW-CP, LMFT, LMSW, or Master’s Degree in human service related field and working toward licensure.  Applicant must be willing to explore and learn cutting-edge treatment modalities and possess excellent documentation and time-management skills.  Experience working with substance use disorders.  Experience working with children and the family unit is preferred.

Patient Navigator

Acts as a liaison between Shoreline Behavioral Health Services and Grand Strand Medical Center to coordinate services for Emergency Room patients identified as having a substance use disorder. Documents all attempts to link clients to care, conducts surveys at prescribed intervals, facilitates transportation for clients as needed, collects, enters and reports data and works closely with both Shoreline and Grand Strand Medical Center staff.

This is a full-time, grant-funded position, and will be located at Shoreline Behavioral Health Services in Conway initially but will eventually be located full-time at Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach.

NOTE: Once located at Grand Strand Medical Center, the ideal candidate must be available for 3rd shift work (11pm-7am) weekdays and/or weekends.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in human services field required. Requires basic computer skills and ability to accurately collect and report data. Must be compassionate and nonjudgmental, culturally competent, a self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team. Previous experience with SUD and mental health clients preferred. Travel to national and state-level meetings, as well as some local travel is required.
